WASC stands for the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. At SRHS, our WASC committee is responsible for assessing our school and creating a plan to address critical needs at SRHS.
Within the WASC Committee Write Up, there are five chapters that encompass this evaluation and plan: Progress Report, School Profile, Evaluation of Quality of School Program, Identification of major student learner needs, and the Action Plan.
How can YOU contribute?
Chapter 3 (of the Write Up) encompasses the evaluation of SRHS in five categories:
Organization, Curriculum, Instruction, Assessment, and School Culture.
Each of the five categories will have one focus group, consisting of students, staff, and parents, to discuss the respective topics.
YOU can contribute by joining one of the five focus groups and sharing your perspective with the committees.
