Dear Falcon Families,
I want to start off by saying a big thank you to our Foundation for putting on The College Showcase this past Saturday at Scripps Ranch High. The Showcase was a huge success so we appreciate all of the work foundation members put into the event for the benefit of our students. This week, I’ve included information on the Butterfly Effect, the Wednesday College Series, district information about a college application workshop, and some counseling updates. Here are the latest updates as of 10-24-21.

On 10/23, Counselors went into English classes as a follow-up for any questions that came up after watching the presentation and reviewing the packet. The Freshmen Presentation and “Freshmen Facts to Know” packet are now available on the counseling website on the Freshmen page.
Home & CCAP students
Seniors who are enrolled in Assigned Time Home, and Juniors and Seniors who have CCAP classes will now need a sticker on their student ID to show proof of why they are not sitting in a class during school hours. Counselors will be available outside of the counseling office to pass out the stickers on Monday (10/25) and Tuesday (10/26): before school, period 1, during lunch, period 6 and after school. If a student has both a Home period and a CCAP class, they will need both stickers on their ID card. It is mandatory to have the sticker/s on student ID cards, so please encourage your student to prioritize getting their sticker as soon as possible.
