Parent Message 1-31-21

Dear Falcon Families,

I hope you are all continuing to stay safe and healthy. I have some exciting news to announce this week. Scripps Ranch High was chosen as one of the few schools to host the Virtual No Place For Hate Tour on Wednesday, February 10th. This interactive program is a combination of live host and pre-recorded videos presented to the students webinar-style. It features personal stories about overcoming bullying and promoting kindness from celebrities including Magic Johnson, David Dobrik, Tim Tebow, Tony Hawk, Dixie D’Amelio, Travis Pastrana, and many more! All students are invited to attend. I’ve included a video and flyer below. Additionally, we are continuing to look for ways to not only support students academically, but to support them emotionally as well. Monthly beginning February 8th, SRHS with the help of Mending Matters will host virtual wellness workshops to support students in different areas. Those details are below as well. Here are the latest updates as of 1-31-21.

* Please forward this message to your child’s email account so they have all the latest info. ASB will also include blurbs from my weekly messages on their Instagram @scrippsranchasb and through the SRHS News page.
